Rampage 2: Universal Tour brings Midway’s classic city-smashing arcade chaos to the PlayStation. Released in 1999, this action-packed sequel introduces three new giant monstersโBoris the Rhino, Curtis the Mouse, and Ruby the Lobsterโwho must destroy cities across the globe to rescue the original trio of George, Lizzie, and Ralph from captivity. You will level entire city blocks, punch helicopters out of the sky, and eat innocent bystanders to regain health as your tour of destruction eventually takes you off-planet and into the far reaches of the universe.
How to Play
Your objective is to completely demolish every building on the screen to progress to the next city, while avoiding military fire, police, and hazardous obstacles. In the browser emulator, use the Arrow Keys to move your monster and climb buildings. Use Z to punch, X to jump, and S to kick. Press Enter to start the game and pause. To eat people or items in windows, just punch them when you are close.
Tips for Destruction
- Watch for hazards: Not everything in the windows is safe to eat. Avoid punching electrical appliances like TVs or eating poison, which will quickly drain your health.
- Keep moving: The military will progressively send heavier forces like tanks and fighter jets the longer you stay in one spot. Keep jumping between buildings to avoid taking concentrated fire.
- Team up: The game features a cooperative mode. Having a second player join in makes taking down the massive skyscrapers and dealing with the constant military barrage much more manageable.
