Game description:

Rambo: First Blood Part II is a top-down run-and-gun arcade shooter developed by Sega and released for the Sega Master System in 1986. Similar to classics like Commando, you take control of Rambo as he infiltrates enemy territory, rescuing hostages and fighting through heavily armed bases.

How to play

Your objective is to reach the end of each vertically scrolling stage, taking out enemies and rescuing prisoners of war to upgrade your arsenal.

  • Move: Arrow Keys
  • Shoot Machine Gun: Z
  • Fire Explosive Arrows: X
  • Start: Enter

Tips

  • Explosive arrows are limited but essentialโ€”they destroy vehicles, heavily armored targets, and certain barricades that regular bullets cannot pierce.
  • Prioritize rescuing hostages. They replenish your explosive arrows and can upgrade your machine gun’s firing range and spread.
  • Keep moving to avoid being surrounded, as enemies will constantly spawn from the edges of the screen and rush your position.
