Game description:

Rage of the Dragons is a 2D tag-team fighting game released for the Arcade and Neo Geo in 2002 by Evoga Entertainment and Noise Factory. Originally conceived as a sequel to the 1995 Double Dragon fighting game, it evolved into a spiritual successor featuring a fast-paced 2-on-2 combat system. Players select a pair of fighters and can switch between them mid-battle, execute assist attacks, and unleash devastating dual-team specials.

How to Play

Defeat the opposing team by depleting the active fighter's health bar. If one character is knocked out, you lose the round, so managing your team is critical. In the browser, the arcade controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow keys for movement, Shift to insert a coin, Enter to start, and action keys (typically Z, X, C, V) for your light and heavy attacks.

Tips

  • First Impact System: Activating a First Impact attack initiates a sequence where you follow on-screen button prompts to juggle your opponent for massive damage.
  • Tag Safely: Swapping fighters leaves you momentarily vulnerable. Tag during a combo or when you have knocked the opponent down to avoid being punished.
  • Rest and Recover: The character resting in the background slowly recovers a portion of their lost health. Swap out heavily damaged fighters before they are eliminated.
