Puzzle Bobble 2 is a classic 1995 arcade puzzle game developed by Taito, also known in some regions as Bust-A-Move Again. As the sequel to the smash-hit original, players once again shoot coloured bubbles up the screen to match three or more of the same colour, aiming to clear the board before the descending ceiling crushes them.
How to Play
Your objective is to clear all bubbles from the playfield. Use the arrow keys to aim your pointer, and press Z or X to fire your bubble. You must match three or more bubbles of the same colour to pop them. Any bubbles hanging exclusively from the popped ones will also fall down. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start.
Tips
- Bank your shots: Bouncing bubbles off the side walls is essential for sliding them into tight gaps that are otherwise unreachable.
- Cut the stem: Prioritize popping bubbles near the top of a cluster. Any bubbles attached below will fall, clearing massive sections in a single shot.
- Plan ahead: Keep an eye on the next bubble loaded in the launcher so you can set up combinations in advance.
