Plump Pop is a colorful 1987 arcade action game developed by Taito. Offering a cute twist on the classic block-breaking formula, the game lets you control a pair of animals holding a trampoline at the bottom of the screen, bouncing a smaller animal into the sky to pop formations of balloons and collect falling treats.
How to Play
Your objective is to clear every balloon on the screen to advance to the next round. Use the arrow keys to move your characters left and right, ensuring the trampoline is always underneath the falling animal. Press Z, X, or Space just as they land to perform a higher jump and reach targets near the top of the screen (use Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start).
Tips
Pay attention to where the animal lands on the trampoline: hitting the center bounces them straight up, while catching them near the edges sends them flying at a sharper angle. Prioritize catching falling power-ups when it is safe to do so, as upgrades like a wider trampoline make clearing levels much easier.
