Game description:

Pinball Quest is a unique hybrid of pinball and role-playing elements released for the NES in 1989. You play as a hero on a quest to rescue a kidnapped princess, using flippers to battle enemies, defeat bosses, and collect gold. The gold you gather during gameplay can be used to purchase upgrades for your flippers and items from the in-game shop, blending classic arcade mechanics with RPG progression.

How to Play

Your objective is to keep the ball in play while aiming for enemies, switches, and pathways to progress up through vertically scrolling screens. Using the default browser controls for the NES, move and navigate menus with the arrow keys, and use Z (A button) and X (B button) along with the D-pad to operate the flippers. Enter acts as Start and Shift as Select. Keep your hero from draining at the bottom of the screen while launching them at monster targets.

Tips

  • Prioritize saving your gold to upgrade your flippers, as stronger flippers provide better control and power for boss fights.
  • Instead of constantly flipping, try to catch and hold the ball to aim your shots carefully when dealing with specific targets.
