Oishii Puzzle Ha Irimasenka (literally “Would You Like a Delicious Puzzle?”) is a competitive tile-matching arcade game developed by Kuusou Kagaku and published by Sunsoft in 1993. Often recognized by its alternate title Triple Fun in international cabinets, this classic block-dropper challenges players to outlast their opponents. By clearing blocks from their own grid, players can send attacks and obstacles to their rival's play area.
How to Play
Your objective is to clear tiles and overwhelm your opponent before your own play area fills to the top. The arcade controls are mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow keys to move and maneuver the falling puzzle pieces, and press Z and X to rotate them. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start the game.
Tips
- Set up combos: Instead of clearing small groups as soon as possible, build structures that trigger chain reactions to send significantly more obstacles to your opponent.
- Monitor the rival board: Keep an eye on the other player's screen. If they are about to clear a large combo, prepare to mitigate the incoming garbage blocks.
