Newpuc2 is an early arcade bootleg of the classic 1980 maze game Pac-Man. Released during the height of the arcade boom, it retains the fundamental gameplay of the original: guide your character through the maze, eat all the dots to clear the stage, and avoid the four pursuing ghosts. Running on modified hardware, it stands as an authentic piece of early arcade history.
How to Play
Your goal is to clear the maze of all dots to progress to the next stage. Avoid the ghosts at all costs, or you will lose a life. Eating one of the four flashing power pellets near the corners of the maze will temporarily turn the ghosts blue, making them vulnerable and allowing you to eat them for bonus points. The game uses standard four-way directional controls, mapped in the browser to your arrow keys. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start.
