Neo Mr. Do! is a 1996 arcade maze game developed by Visco Corporation, bringing the classic 1982 digging gameplay to the Neo Geo hardware. Taking control of the iconic clown, players dig through the dirt to collect all the cherries on each stage while avoiding or crushing wandering enemies. This updated release features colorful 16-bit graphics, new level themes, and faster movement while retaining the challenging, tactical arcade mechanics of the original.
How to Play
The objective is to clear each stage by collecting all the cherries, defeating all the enemies, dropping an apple to reveal a prize item, or spelling “EXTRA” by defeating letter monsters. In this browser emulator, insert a coin with the Shift key and press Enter to start. Move Mr. Do through the dirt using the Arrow keys, and press Z or X to throw your bouncing power ball.
Tips
- Use the environment to your advantage by digging paths under apples to drop them on pursuing enemies. Dropping an apple on multiple enemies at once awards massive bonus points.
- Be careful when throwing your power ball; you only have one, and if it bounces around the maze, you are defenseless until it returns to your hands.
- Grabbing the central prize item will temporarily freeze enemies and spawn letter monsters, offering you a rare chance to spell “EXTRA” for a free life.
