🎮 Play Nekketsu! Street Basket – Ganbare Dunk Heroes (Japan) Online (NES)

Released in 1993 by Technōs Japan for the NES, Nekketsu! Street Basket – Ganbare Dunk Heroes is a chaotic, no-rules sports brawler. Part of the beloved Kunio-kun series, this 2-on-2 street tournament ditches traditional rules in favor of all-out combat, weapons, and three stacked hoops on each backboard.

How to Play

The objective is to outscore the opposing team by sinking the ball into any of the three hoops—the higher the hoop, the more points you score. There are no fouls, meaning you can punch, kick, and use items like skateboards and trash cans to steal the ball. In the browser, use the Arrow Keys to move, Z to pass or attack, and X to shoot or jump (Enter for Start, Shift for Select). Pressing Z and X together performs a double jump to reach the top baskets.

Tips

• Super Shots: Each character has an unblockable, high-scoring super shot. Trigger it by dashing (double-tap forward) and pressing the shoot button at the correct moment.
• Team Attacks: You can jump onto your teammate’s shoulders. From there, you can be launched high into the air to dunk directly into the upper hoops.
