Multi 5 (also sold as New Multi Game 5) is a five-in-one arcade compilation released by the Korean developer Yun Sung. Rather than one game, a single cabinet boots into a menu of five: a Donkey Kong-style platformer called Tong Boy, and four puzzle games — Bubble Gum, Cross Point, Box Logic, and Rocktris. This page runs the earlier “set 3” build of the board (romset nmg5e), a 1997 revision that predates the more commonly seen 1998 release.
How to Play
After the title screen, pick one of the five games from the menu and play it on its own scoring and rules:
- Tong Boy — a platformer spanning 49 rounds. The first 42 borrow ladders, barrels, and climbing action from Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr.; the last seven switch to a Donkey Kong 3-style layout.
- Bubble Gum — a Puzzle Bobble-style shooter: aim and fire colored bubbles to match three or more and clear the board before it fills up.
- Cross Point — a Columns-style faller: rotate and drop a column of colored blocks to line up three or more of the same color.
- Box Logic — a Logic Pro-style nonogram: fill in grid cells using row and column number clues to reveal a hidden picture.
- Rocktris — a Tetris-style faller: rotate and stack falling blocks to clear complete horizontal lines.
Controls follow the standard arcade layout: arrow keys to move, Z and X for the two main action buttons (rotate/drop or jump, depending on which game is running), Enter to start, and Shift to insert a coin.
