Money Puzzle Exchanger (also known as Money Idol Exchanger) is a fast-paced 1997 arcade puzzle game developed by Face. Taking clear inspiration from titles like Magical Drop, it challenges players to pull down and throw stacks of coins to match and combine their denominations in a frantic race against the advancing screen.
How to Play
The objective is to clear the board by combining coins into higher values until they disappear. Five 1-coins make a 5, two 5s make a 10, five 10s make a 50, two 50s make a 100, and five 100s make a 500. When two 500 coins are combined, they vanish completely. To play in the browser, press Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. Use the arrow keys to move left and right, press Z to pull coins down, and press X to throw them back up.
Tips
- You can hold multiple coins of the same denomination at once, which is crucial for moving large stacks and reorganizing the board quickly.
- Look for chain reactions: place coins so that when they combine into a higher value, they immediately drop onto matching coins below.
