Mirax Set 1 is a fast-paced 1985 arcade rail shooter developed by Current Technology. Similar to other forward-scaling shooters of the era, you pilot a spacecraft across a pseudo-3D landscape, fighting through ten intense levels of ground structures and enemy UFOs on your way to destroy the central Mirax City installation.
How to Play
Your primary objective is to survive the enemy onslaught, dodge incoming missiles, and reach the final stage. The controls follow standard arcade mappings in the browser: use the Arrow Keys to maneuver your ship, and press Z or X to fire your weapons. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start.
Tips
- Destroy specific enemy formations early on to upgrade your default manual shots into automatic fire.
- Keep moving in a wide pattern to dodge incoming missiles, as the forward-scaling perspective can make it tricky to judge projectile distances if you stay still.
