Developed by Natsume and published by Bandai in 1994, the Sega Genesis version of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers eschews the side-scrolling action genre of its counterparts in favor of a dedicated 1-on-1 fighting game. Players can choose from the core Rangers alongside iconic villains like Goldar and Madame Woe, battling through a Story mode or facing off directly in Versus mode.
How to play
The objective is to deplete your opponent’s health bar in best-of-three matches using normal strikes, throws, and character-specific special moves. The game maps to the Genesis layout for light, medium, and heavy attacks.

Tips
- Special moves use standard fighting game inputs, such as quarter-circle forward or charge motions, followed by an attack button.
- The Green Ranger and many of the villain characters have excellent reach and projectile priority, making them particularly strong choices in Versus mode.
