🎮 Play Mighty Monkey Online (Arcade)

Mighty Monkey is a side-scrolling arcade shoot-'em-up released in 1982 by Yih Lung. Loosely inspired by the classic novel Journey to the West, you control Sun Wukong as he rides a nimbus cloud through six stages, using his staff to shoot down waves of enemies and navigate hazards.

How to Play

Move your character to avoid enemies and press the fire button to shoot them down. A unique mechanic is the transformation ability: pressing the secondary button turns your character into a dragon's head. While in dragon form, you cannot fire your weapon, but you can “eat” incoming fireballs to survive dense attacks. Use the arrow keys to move, Z and X to shoot and transform, and Enter or Shift to start the game.

Tips

• Use your dragon transformation strategically to absorb fireballs when the screen becomes too crowded to dodge effectively.
• Remember that transforming prevents you from attacking, so switch back to monkey form as soon as the immediate threat has passed to continue clearing enemies.
