Mega lo Mania is a real-time strategy game by Sensible Software, released on the Sega Genesis in 1991. You take command of one of four rival gods — Scarlet, Caesar, Oberon, or Zeus — and compete to dominate humanity across ten historical epochs, from the stone age through a sci-fi future. Each epoch brings a fresh set of islands to fight for and a new ladder of weapons technology to climb.
How to Play
Each island is divided into sectors. You begin by deploying a number of men onto a sector, then assign them to mine raw materials, research and manufacture weapons, or fight. Once your army is better armed than the enemy, attack adjacent sectors to capture them. Take every enemy sector on an island to advance to the next epoch.

- Arrow keys — move cursor
- S (A button) — confirm / select
- X (B button) — cancel / back
- Z (C button) — secondary action

- Shift — Mode
Tips
- Balance miners and manufacturers from the start — a resource or weapon shortage mid-battle is usually fatal.
- Research the highest weapon tier available before attacking; superior weapons win fights faster and preserve your men.
- Capture undefended sectors first to grow your population before taking on the heavily garrisoned ones.
