Marvin’s Maze is a creative maze action game developed by SNK and released in 1983 for arcades. Playing as Marvin, you must navigate a two-tiered, pseudo-3D grid while avoiding or defeating robotic enemies known as Robonoids. While often compared to classics like Pac-Man, it introduces a dual-level map with connecting tunnels and one-way bridges, forcing players to think strategically about positioning and escape routes.
How to Play
Your objective in each level is to either clear every dot scattered across the maze or destroy a set number of Robonoid enemies. You can eliminate Robonoids directly by shooting them, or by removing the floor tiles beneath them at specific trick locations. Use the Arrow keys to move Marvin, and press Z or X to shoot or interact with the trick floors. Press Enter to start the game.
Tips
- Use the one-way bridges and multi-level tunnels to lose pursuing Robonoids if you get cornered.
- Keep track of the floor traps; using them effectively can clear out groups of enemies faster than trying to shoot them individually.
