Released in 1997 by Capcom, Marvel Super Heroes vs. Street Fighter is a crossover arcade fighting game that pits iconic Marvel comic book characters against Capcom’s legendary martial artists. Building upon the foundation of its predecessor, the game introduces the “Variable Assist” mechanic, allowing players to call in their off-screen partner for a quick assist attack without fully swapping them in. The roster features favorites from both universes, culminating in a fast-paced tag-team showdown.
How to Play
Select a tag team of two fighters and battle the opposing duo to deplete both of their health bars. You can swap between your characters at any point during the match to manage their health and execute team combos. Since this is an arcade port, be sure to insert virtual coins before pressing start.

- Medium Punch: X

Tips
- Use Assists Strategically: The Variable Assist is incredibly useful for extending combos or safely escaping an opponent’s pressure. Call your partner in while you are acting to control the space.
- Variable Cross: If you have at least two levels of your super meter, you can unleash a Variable Cross, where both of your characters perform their Hyper Combos simultaneously for massive damage.
