Markham is a horizontally scrolling arcade shooter released by Sun Electronics in December 1983, originally exclusive to Japanese arcades. You take the controls of a fighter jet sent to wipe out a chain of enemy research stations across Antarctica, in a game that stood out from other shooters of its era thanks to a tilting aim system that lets you angle your shots to hit erratically moving targets.
How to Play
The objective is to fly across the icy terrain and destroy every enemy installation in your path while dodging incoming fire, either solo or with a second player. Your jet carries both standard ammunition and missiles, which can be combined for a stronger attack against tougher targets. Use the arrow keys to steer your jet and tilt your firing angle, and Z / X to fire your weapons.
