Instead of a minor tweak, this expansion introduces 16 brand-new custom tracks, replaces the original 2D character sprites with fully animated 3D models, and adds a completely new soundtrack. Amped Up also brings a wealth of new gameplay options, including Elimination Mode, Balloon Race in Grand Prix, and specialized Time Trial variations like N64 Coin Mode and Target Zones.
How to Play
The core kart racing mechanics remain true to the original. Use the arrow keys (Analog Stick) to steer, X (A Button) to accelerate, and C (B Button) to brake or reverse. The Shift key (R Button) is essential for hopping and initiating powerslides around corners. Press Z (Z Trigger) to use items you pick up from Item Boxes, and Enter (Start) to pause the game.
