Mad Crusher (also known as Mad Crasher outside Japan) is a futuristic driving and shooting game released for arcades by SNK in 1984. Notably standing as SNK’s first title to use a 3D isometric perspective, you control a high-speed hover-bike hurtling along a suspended, diagonally scrolling track. The game blends racing reflexes with arcade combat as you weave through narrow paths, leap across perilous gaps, and shoot down enemy vehicles that try to run you off the road.
How to Play
Your goal is to survive the treacherous futuristic highways while destroying enemy vehicles and collecting point bonuses along the way. The track is full of missing sections, requiring precise timing to jump over the void.
- Arrow Keys: Steer your bike
- Z: Shoot
- X: Jump
- Shift: Insert Coin
- Enter: Start Game
Tips
- Manage your speed: While going fast makes you a harder target for enemies, it leaves you less time to react to sudden gaps in the track.
- Master the jump: Your jump is essential not only for crossing missing road sections but also for dodging enemy fire when you’re cornered.
