The Lost Vikings is a classic puzzle-platformer originally developed by Silicon & Synapse and released for the Sega Genesis. You take control of three distinct vikingsโErik the Swift, Baleog the Fierce, and Olaf the Stoutโwho have been abducted by the alien emperor Tomator and must work together to navigate his ship, solve environmental puzzles, and find their way back home.
How to Play
To successfully complete each level, all three vikings must reach the exit alive. You can only control one viking at a time and must frequently switch between them to combine their unique skills. The standard Sega Genesis browser controls use the arrow keys to move, Z, X, and C for the primary actions (jumping, attacking, and using items), and Enter to cycle between the characters.
Tips
- Erik the Swift is the only viking who can jump. He can also sprint and bash through certain walls with his helmet.
- Baleog the Fierce can defeat enemies with his sword and use his bow to hit inaccessible switches from a distance.
- Olaf the Stout can block enemy attacks with his shield, and he can also hold it above his head to glide down shafts or provide a platform for Erik to jump off.
- If even one viking is defeated, you will not be able to finish the level. Move them carefully and never leave a vulnerable character exposed.
