Lethal Enforcers II: Gun Fighters is a classic 1994 light gun shooter by Konami, ported from the arcade to the Sega Genesis. Set in the Wild West, you step into the boots of a sheriff tasked with taking down ruthless outlaws across saloons, banks, and moving stagecoaches. The game is notable for its digitized, photorealistic graphics and fast-paced shooting action, offering an authentic arcade experience right on your console.
How to Play
Your goal is to survive each stage by shooting outlaws while carefully avoiding innocent bystanders. Although originally designed for the Konami Justifier light gun, you can play this Genesis port using standard controls. Use the D-pad (mapped to your keyboard’s arrow keys) to aim your crosshair, and press the A, B, or C buttons (typically mapped to Z, X, or C) to fire. Press Start (Enter) to begin or pause the game. You must reload frequently since your revolver only holds six rounds!
Tips
- Prioritize Threats: Outlaws who are fully drawn or actively shooting at you should be taken down first. Don’t waste time on enemies still getting into position.
- Reload Constantly: Make it a habit to reload your weapon by shooting off-screen (or using the designated reload button) whenever there is a split-second break in the action. Running out of bullets during a shootout is often fatal.
- Watch Your Fire: Take a brief moment to identify your target before shooting. Hitting an innocent townsperson will cost you a life.
