Konami RF2 – Red Fighter, also known outside of Japan as Konami GT, is an arcade racing game developed by Konami in 1985. Often considered a spiritual successor to the 1984 classic Road Fighter, the game challenges players to drive a sports car through six increasingly difficult stages while carefully managing their fuel to reach the next checkpoint.

How to Play

The main objective is to navigate through traffic and reach the stage checkpoints before your car runs out of fuel. Crashing into other vehicles or roadside obstacles will cost you valuable fuel and time. To play in the browser, use the Arrow Keys to steer left and right. Press Z to accelerate, and X to shift into high gear for a turbo speed boost. Press Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start the game.

Tips

• Manage Your Turbo: While shifting into high gear is necessary to beat the timer, it burns fuel much faster and makes dodging cars difficult. Only use turbo on straightaways when traffic is light.
• Fuel is Life: Avoid collisions at all costs. Every crash drains a significant amount of fuel, which is often more punishing than the time lost from stopping.
