Jigoku Meguri (known internationally as Bonze Adventure) is a classic action platformer released by Taito for the Arcade in 1988. You play as a heroic Buddhist monk tasked with journeying deep into the mythical underworld to defeat the maddened King of Hell. Armed with magical prayer beads, you must navigate challenging scrolling levels filled with traditional Japanese yokai and demonic enemies.
How to Play
The objective is to survive the treacherous platforming stages of the underworld and defeat the boss waiting at the end of each round. You attack enemies by throwing prayer beads, which can be upgraded along the way.
