Ikari III: The Rescue is a top-down action game released for the NES in 1991 by SNK. Breaking away from the pure run-and-gun shooting of its predecessors, this third installment tasks players with rescuing a kidnapped presidential child using primarily hand-to-hand combat. Players control the commando heroes Ralf and Clark, fighting through waves of enemy soldiers with martial arts attacks and occasionally scavenging limited-ammo weapons or items to survive.

How to Play

Use the directional pad (mapped to arrow keys) to move your commando in eight directions. Press the A button (Z key) to perform a kick or primary attack, and use the B button (X key) to utilize any items or weapons you have picked up.
