Based on the holiday movie classic, Home Alone is a 1991 action game for the Sega Genesis developed by Manley & Associates. Rather than a traditional platformer, the game is a frantic race against the clock where you play as Kevin McCallister. You must defend your house from Harry and Marv (the Wet Bandits) for exactly 20 minutes while waiting for the police to arrive.

How to play

Your goal is to survive the 20-minute timer without getting caught by the bandits. Kevin gathers household items like snow, glue, and pepper to craft makeshift weapons using blueprints found around the house. Use these tools to stun the burglars and stay out of their reach until the timer runs out.

Tips

Spend the first few minutes moving quickly through the house to gather all the ammunition and weapon components you can find before the bandits break in. Once they are inside, do not stay in one room for too long. Keep moving between floors and use weapons that slow them down—like the snow launcher or pepper gun—to maintain a safe distance until the cops show up.
