Gyakuten Puzzle Bancho is a vibrant competitive tile-matching puzzle game released in 1996 for the arcade by Fuuki. Centered around exaggerated delinquent school gang leaders and their rivals, the game challenges you to outsmart your opponent in fast-paced head-to-head battles.
How to Play
Align three or more blocks of the same color horizontally or vertically to clear them. Blocks come in two sizes: when matched, large blocks disappear completely, while small blocks grow into large ones. You can play using the arrow keys to move your pieces and the Z and X keys to rotate them.
Tips
- Plan your chains: Focus on predicting where small blocks will land after they grow into large ones to set up massive chain reactions.
- Master the reversal: The game features a unique comeback mechanic. If you clear a large block that is touching incoming garbage blocks sent by your opponent, those garbage blocks transform into small blocks on your side, allowing you to turn the tide of the match.
