Game description:

Gun Dealer 94 is a drop-style arcade puzzle game released by Dooyong in 1994. Instead of matching traditional colors or shapes, players arrange falling playing cards on the board to form valid poker hands, such as straights, flushes, and full houses. As an iteration of the 1990 original, it challenges your ability to quickly spot winning card combinations before the screen fills up.

How to Play

Your objective is to survive by clearing cards from the playfield, which is done by grouping them into recognized poker hands. For arcade browser play, press 5 to insert a coin and 1 to start. Use the Arrow Keys to steer the falling cards and the Z or X keys to rotate your current pieces.

Tips

  • Clear basic hands: Don’t always hold out for complex combinations like a flush. Clearing simple pairs or a three of a kind is often necessary to keep the board manageable.
  • Leave multiple outs: Stack your cards so that different incoming values or suits can still complete a hand, preventing you from getting stuck waiting for one specific card.
