🎮 Play Gulf Storm Korea Online (Arcade)

Gulf Storm Korea is a 1991 Dooyong arcade shoot-’em-up set during the Persian Gulf War. You play a member of the Rangers corps, part of the allied forces, and switch vehicles from stage to stage — speedboat, helicopter, motorcycle — as you push through enemy territory. This Korea-region release runs the same game as the original Dooyong board, just with regional ROM text.

How to Play

Fight your way through waves of tanks, ships, aircraft, static gun emplacements, and stage bosses, shooting straight ahead while you weave through incoming fire. Destroyed enemies drop three kinds of power-ups: A for faster shots, P for a weapon upgrade, and B for a limited-use bomb that clears the screen. The game supports up to two players at once.

Tips

• Save your bombs (B power-up) for the stage bosses rather than burning them on regular waves — they clear the screen instantly when a boss fight goes wrong.
• Your vehicle changes automatically between stages, so relearn your hitbox and firing angle each time a speedboat, helicopter, or motorcycle segment starts.
• Grabbing the P weapon upgrade before a boss fight makes a real difference — prioritize picking one up if it drops nearby.
