Green Beret, also known as Rush’n Attack, is a classic 1985 arcade action game developed by Konami. Players take on the role of a lone special forces soldier infiltrating a highly guarded enemy base to rescue POWs. Known for its challenging gameplay and focus on close-quarters combat, the game arms you primarily with a trusty combat knife, though you can temporarily acquire specialized weapons like a flamethrower or rocket launcher from defeated enemy officers.

How to Play

The objective is to survive four scrolling stages—a Missile Base, Harbor, Bridge, and Prison Camp—eliminating enemies and reaching the POWs at the end. Arcade controls are typically mapped to your keyboard: use the arrow keys to move, climb ladders, and duck. Press the Z key to use your knife or acquired special weapon, and the X key to jump.
