Gokuaku Doumei Dump Matsumoto is a 1986 tag-team professional wrestling game for the Sega Master System, released exclusively in Japan. Starring the famous real-life wrestling heel Dump Matsumoto and her villainous stable, the Atrocious Alliance, it brings intense Japanese women’s wrestling to the 8-bit era. Outside of Japan, this title was altered and released as Pro Wrestling with an entirely different roster of male wrestlers. The original Japanese version retains its unique cast, letting you fight in tag-team matches where brawling tactics play a key role.
How to Play
The objective is to wear down your opponent’s stamina to secure a pinfall before the match timer expires. Because matches are two-on-two, managing your team’s health by tagging in your partner is crucial. Using the default browser controls, move your wrestler with the arrow keys, and use the Z and X keys (mapping to the 1 and 2 buttons) to punch, kick, and execute grappling moves when close to an opponent. Press Enter to start or pause the game.
Tips
- When locked in a grapple, rapidly press the action buttons to win the struggle and execute a powerful throw.
- Use the ring ropes to bounce off and gain momentum for fast running attacks.
- Keep a close eye on your active wrestler’s stamina and tag your partner in frequently to keep your team fresh.
