Galaxy Gunners is a vertical scrolling shoot 'em up released for the arcade in 1989 by Italian developer Electronic Devices. Evolving from the style of early fixed-screen shooters like Space Invaders and Galaxian, it introduces moving backgrounds and a distinct ending sequence while retaining challenging, classic retro gameplay.

How to play

Use the arrow keys to pilot your ship in eight directions, and the Z and X keys to fire your weapons. Press the 5 key to insert a coin and the 1 key to start the game.
