🎮 Play Galaga: Destination Earth Online (PlayStation)

Galaga: Destination Earth is a 2000 3D shoot ’em up that reimagines the classic arcade shooter for the PlayStation. Developed by King of the Jungle, the game updates the traditional single-screen alien-blasting formula with shifting perspectives, including side-scrolling stages and behind-the-ship rail-shooter segments, as you defend Earth from the returning Galaga fleet.

How to play

Your objective is to destroy waves of alien formations without losing your ships. Move your fighter using the D-pad (mapped to arrow keys) and press the X button (usually mapped to Z on your keyboard) to fire. Press Start (Enter) to pause the game.

Tips

• The classic tractor beam mechanic returns: allow one of your ships to be captured by a Boss Galaga, then shoot the boss down on its next pass to rescue your ship and fly as a dual-fighter with doubled firepower.
• Because the camera perspective shifts between levels, adjust your dodging strategy; in the 3D behind-the-ship segments, focus on depth and anticipating enemy flight paths rather than just left-to-right movement.
