Gaiapolis is a unique overhead action RPG and hack-and-slash game released by Konami for the arcade in 1993. Players take on the role of Prince Gerard, Elaine the half-fairy, or Galahad the dragon duke to seek revenge against the dark Zar Harc empire. How to Play
Your objective is to fight your way through the stages, defeating enemies and bosses to reach the King of Darkness. Press Shift to insert coins and Enter to start. Use the arrow keys to move, Z to attack, and X to use your magic or special abilities.
Tips
- Collect Eggs: Keep an eye out for eggs containing Guardian Beasts. Once hatched, these familiars will follow you and provide powerful support in battle.
- Grind for Experience: Unlike most arcade games, defeating enemies grants experience points. Take your time to clear out weaker foes to level up your maximum health before facing tough bosses.
- Choose the Right Hero: Each character plays differently. Prince Gerard is balanced, Elaine is fast with dual swords, and Galahad the dragon is slow but deals heavy damage.
