G-Stream G2020 (later known as DeltaZeal) is a fast-paced vertical shoot ’em up developed by Oriental Soft Japan and released for arcades in 2002. Directed by Toshiaki Fujino, who would go on to found Triangle Service, the game blends classic 90s shooting action with a dense, customisable weapon system. Players pilot a fighter jet through detailed pixel-art stages, collecting power-up tokens to mix and match spread shots, piercing lasers, and homing missiles on the fly.
How to Play
To survive the heavy enemy fire, you will need to actively manage your ship’s loadout and use your bombs defensively. The default arcade controls are mapped to your keyboard:
- Movement: Arrow Keys
- Shoot: Z
- Bomb: X
- Insert Coin: Shift
- Start: Enter
Tips
- Customise your firepower: You have multiple weapon slots. Mixing a wide spread shot with homing missiles gives you excellent screen coverage, while focusing on lasers deals heavy damage to bosses.
- Turn bullets into points: When cornered, using a bomb not only clears the screen to save your life but also transforms all nearby enemy bullets into score items.
