🎮 Play Frogger Sega Set 3 Online (Arcade)

Frogger is the 1981 arcade classic originally developed by Konami and released in North America under license by Sega/Gremlin; this “Set 3” release is one of the alternate ROM revisions of that Sega-licensed arcade board. It’s a hopping action-puzzle game: guide a frog safely across a busy highway and a hazardous river to reach one of the open lily pad slots at the top of the screen, then do it again with the next frog.

How to Play

Move the frog one hop at a time with the arrow keys — up, down, left, and right — there’s no separate jump or action button. On the road, time your hops between the lanes of moving traffic. On the river, you can’t swim, so hop across on floating logs and turtles; watch the turtles closely, since they periodically dive underwater and will take your frog down with them if you’re still on their backs. Snap up a fly with your tongue when one appears for bonus points, and guide the lady frog into a home slot for an extra bonus. Get frogs into all five home slots before the timer runs out to clear the screen, and avoid any slot with a crocodile’s head in it.

Tips

• Watch a turtle’s dive rhythm for a beat before you commit to riding it across the river.
• Hop in short, deliberate presses rather than holding a direction — Frogger reads discrete taps, not continuous movement.
• Save the lady frog and any visible fly for when you have time to spare; both are pure bonus and not required to clear the level.
