Fly Boy Bootleg is an unofficial release of the 1982 arcade classic originally developed by Kaneko. Players pilot a hang glider across horizontally scrolling landscapes from the Alps to Egypt, managing altitude and wind currents while defending against an array of airborne hazards.
How to Play
The objective is to survive each stage and safely touch down on the landing platform at the end. Use the directional keys to maneuver your glider around terrain and obstacles. Press the action button (typically Z, X, or Space in your browser) to perform a mid-air kick, which is your only defense against incoming balloons, planes, and birds.
Tips
- Collect the floating letter flags scattered across each stage to spell out the word B-O-N-U-S for a substantial score boost upon landing.
- Unlike the North American release (Fast Freddie), this version does not limit your attacks, so use your kick frequently to clear out crowded skies before attempting tight maneuvers.
