Developed by SEGA in 1984, Flicky is an action-platformer for the Sega Genesis where you play as a blue bird tasked with saving small yellow chicks (Chirps) from prowling cats. Originally a coin-op arcade title, this Genesis release retains the frantic, looping level design and distinct momentum physics of the original.
How to Play
Your goal is to gather all the Chirps scattered across each stage and guide them safely to the exit. The more Chirps you bring to the exit at once, the higher your score, but a longer trail means they are more vulnerable to being scattered by enemies. You can also pick up objects like apples or cups to throw and stun the cats.

Tips
When going for a high score, try to collect every Chirp in the stage before touching the exit door to secure a large combo bonus. However, if a cat is closing in quickly and you have no items to throw, it is often safer to bank the Chirps you currently have rather than risk losing your entire flock and having to round them up again.
