Elite Soccer is a 1994 sports game developed by Denton Designs for the Game Boy. Also known as World Cup Striker in some regions, it brings international football to the handheld with a World Cup tournament mode, alongside World League and Knockout options. Players can even customize their rosters using the built-in team edit features.
How to Play
Take your chosen international team through the tournament bracket to win the championship. On the Game Boy, use the D-pad to move your players around the pitch. The A and B buttons handle passing, shooting, and tackling depending on who has possession of the ball. When playing in your browser, the D-pad maps to the arrow keys, while A and B are mapped to the Z and X keys. Press Enter to use the Start button to pause or navigate menus.
