Eagle Set 2 Bootleg is an arcade fixed shooter from 1980 that serves as an unauthorized variant of Nichibutsu’s classic Moon Cresta. As in the original, players defend against waves of erratic alien formations while attempting to dock their current ship with the next tier to increase firepower.

Your goal is to clear the screen of enemies and successfully maneuver your ship onto the next segment during the docking sequences to form a larger, more powerful spacecraft. In this browser version, use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press Z, X, or Enter to fire your laser.

During the docking phases, take your time and tap the thrust button carefully; rushing the descent will cause a crash and cost you a ship segment. Once you have a multi-part ship, remember that your larger size makes you an easier target, so prioritize dodging incoming fire over aggressive shooting.
