Datach – Battle Rush – Build Up Robot Tournament is a unique 1993 fighting game for the NES that originally utilized Bandai's Datach Joint ROM System. In this Japan-exclusive release, players used a barcode scanner accessory to generate and customize robotic fighters, pitting them against each other in a series of one-on-one tournament battles.
How to Play
The objective is to win the tournament by defeating opposing robots in the arena. Because the game relies on barcodes to create fighters, you will need to use the emulator's barcode simulation features to generate your robot's stats and abilities. To control your robot in combat, use the Arrow Keys to move, and the Z and X keys (mapping to the NES A and B buttons) to execute your attacks. Press Enter (Start) to begin the match.
Tips
- Since every barcode generates different base stats and weapons, try simulating a variety of codes to find the strongest combination of attack power and durability.
- Timing is critical in combat; focus on learning the range of your robot's attacks and strike right as the opponent steps towards you.
