Game description:

Released by Stern Electronics in 1982, Dark Planet is a rare arcade space shooter that tasks players with stopping enemies from building bases on a mysterious planet. It features a unique “pseudo-3D” perspective, originally achieved by having players look through a narrow opening in the cabinet, making it an ambitious early attempt at three-dimensional action.

How to Play

The objective is to shoot down enemy craft and prevent them from completing their bases on the planet’s surface. In the browser emulator, use the arrow keys to move your ship, Z, X, or C for your action buttons, Shift to insert a coin, and Enter to start.
