Crime City is a classic side-scrolling run-and-gun action game released by Taito for the arcade in 1989. In a spin-off from Taito’s driving hit Chase H.Q., players take on the roles of plainclothes police officers Tony Gibson and Raymond Broady as they battle a criminal syndicate on foot. How to Play
Use Shift to insert a coin and Enter to start the game. Move your officer using the Arrow keys, press Z to shoot or punch at close range, and press X to jump. You can pick up various firearms like rifles and shotguns dropped by enemies to increase your firepower.
Tips
- Watch out for gunfire: While physical contact from enemies only drains a portion of your life meter, getting hit by a single bullet will instantly cost you a life.
- Prioritize armed criminals: Since bullets are instantly lethal, immediately take out enemies carrying firearms before dealing with melee attackers.
