Game description:

Crazy Fight is a 1998 arcade release from Subsino, and despite the title it isn’t a fighting game at all — it’s a fast reflex shooter. Enemies pop up across six themed stages, from a dockyard and an airport to a graveyard and a space station, and you have a split second to shoot them before they shoot you. The cast ranges from human terrorists to a two-hit robot ninja, aliens, and undead threats like vampires, jiangshi, and mummies, each popping up with an exaggerated expression when they go down.

How to Play

The cabinet has no joystick at all — just six buttons arranged in two rows of three, one for each of the six zones enemies and hostages can appear in. In the browser, those six buttons map to Z, X, C on the top row and A, S, D on the bottom row. Watch each zone and hit the matching key the instant an enemy appears there.

The catch: hostages appear in the same zones as the enemies, and shooting one costs you health instead of points. There are no power-ups or weapon upgrades to fall back on — just your own reaction speed.

Tips

  • Keep your eyes moving across all six zones rather than fixating on one — enemies and hostages can pop up anywhere in the grid.
  • The robot ninja takes two hits to put down, so don’t assume a single shot has cleared that zone.
  • Missing a hostage costs more than missing an enemy costs you offense, so when in doubt, hesitate on ambiguous shapes rather than firing blind.
