Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped is a classic 3D platformer developed by Naughty Dog and released for the PlayStation in 1998. Following the events of the previous game, Crash and his sister Coco must travel through time to gather Crystals before the evil Dr. Neo Cortex and the mask Uka Uka can get their hands on them. Widely considered one of the defining titles of the PS1 era, Warped introduces a massive variety of gameplay styles, taking players through medieval castles, prehistoric swamps, and futuristic cities.
How to Play
Your objective is to reach the end of each era to collect the purple Crystal. Break crates to gather Wumpa Fruit, and find hidden Gems. For browser play, the PlayStation controller is mapped to your keyboard: use the Arrow keys to move, Z to jump (Cross button), X to spin (Square button), C to crouch or slide (Circle button), and Enter to pause. Some stages also let you play as Coco riding a tiger or piloting a biplane.
Tips
- The Slide-Jump: Press crouch while moving to perform a slide, then immediately press jump. This launches Crash into a slide-jump, which goes significantly higher and further than a standard leap.
- Time Trials: After clearing a level and collecting its Crystal, re-enter the stage and touch the floating yellow stopwatch. Break the yellow crates to freeze the clock and earn Relics.
- Backtrack for Secrets: Defeating bosses rewards you with permanent powers, such as the Double Jump and Death Tornado Spin. Revisit earlier levels with these abilities to access new paths.
