Cool Spot is a 1993 action platformer developed by Virgin Games for the Sega Genesis. How to play

Your objective in each stage is to collect enough “cool points” (the small red spots) to meet a minimum quota. Once you have enough, you can find and break open the cage holding a fellow Spot to finish the level.

Tips

• Look before you leap: Use the camera’s ability to pan by holding Up or Down. This lets you spot enemies below or floating balloons above that hold extra points.
• Attack from an angle: Firing diagonally allows you to hit enemies while staying safely out of their direct line of attack.
