CocoNuts is a fast-paced 1982 action game for the Atari 2600 developed by Telesys. You play as jungle explorer Stanley I. Presume, trying to survive a barrage of falling coconuts thrown by Coco the monkey, who hops rapidly between two palm trees at the top of the screen.
How to Play
The goal is entirely evasion. Use the left and right controls to move Stanley and dodge the falling coconuts. You begin the game protected by an umbrella and a pith helmet. Taking a hit destroys your umbrella, a second hit removes your helmet, and a third hit to your bare head ends the game. Reaching score thresholds of 500 and 1,500 points restores your lost equipment.

Tips
- Watch the monkey: Focus your attention on Coco’s position and the arc of the coconuts as they fall rather than staring at Stanley.
- Anticipate the pace: As your score increases, Coco will speed up and throw coconuts more aggressively, giving you much smaller windows to dodge.
