Chuckie Egg is a classic action platformer released by A&F Software in 1983. In the DOS conversion of this 8-bit staple, you play as Hen-House Harry, navigating a series of platforms and ladders to collect a dozen eggs before the timer runs out.
How to play
Each level tasks you with gathering every egg while avoiding deadly giant hens that roam the screen. Gathering seed piles scores extra points, and from level eight onwards, a large duck is released to actively chase you.

Tips
- Keep your distance: The collision detection in the DOS version is famously unforgiving. Give the birds a wider berth than you think is necessary.
- Ladder drops: You can drop off a ladder mid-climb by jumping. This is often the fastest way to descend to a lower platform.
- Random movement: Unlike the predictable patterns in other versions, the hens in the DOS release move erratically. Stay mobile and always keep an escape route open.
