Choplifter III – Rescue Survive brings the classic helicopter action-rescue series to the Super Nintendo. Released in 1994, it places you behind the controls of a combat chopper tasked with flying into hostile enemy territory, destroying defensive placements, and rescuing prisoners of war to bring them safely back to base.
How to Play
Your primary objective is to find and rescue a set quota of hostages in each level without running out of fuel or taking too much damage.
- Arrow Keys: Move your helicopter
- Z / X: Fire your primary weapons and change facing direction
- A / S: Drop bombs and use special weapons
- Enter / Shift: Start / Select
Tips
- Hostages can be accidentally killed by your weapons or by enemies. Clear the landing area carefully before touching down.
- Always keep an eye on your fuel gauge. Look for fuel pickups to extend your flight time.
- You can only carry a limited number of hostages at once. Once your helicopter is full, you must return to your base to drop them off before you can rescue more.
